OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY in Primary Care

Do you have a physical or mental health condition and struggle with…

Motivation? Social interaction? Household chores? Pain? Work? Hobbies and interests? Sleep? Fatigue? Focus and concentration?

OT’s provide interventions that help people find ways to continue to do activities that are important to them.

The OT can explore treatment options with you, such as:

·       Alternative ways of completing tasks

·       Re-engaging in meaningful activity

·       Pacing techniques

·       Fatigue management

·       Pain and daily life

·       Adapting daily routines

·       Support with remaining in or returning to work

·       Exploration of some adaptive equipment

Anyone aged 18 or over can be referred. Please ask your GP surgery to refer you, or contact us directly via email: occupationaltherapy.hslpcn@nhs.net
