Service Update

Dear patient,

Following the changes in government advice on 17/05/2021, please note that we are still operating a closed-door policy to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Therefore, we kindly ask that you do no attend the surgery without an appointment and manage prescription requests on-line, or by posting them into the practice. We should also like to remind patients to attend appointments alone, (unless support is required) and to wear a face covering when in the surgery. 

We should like to remind patients that since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been offering face-to-face appointments based on clinical need,  alongside telephone and video consultations. We will also continue to operate our care navigation and triage process to ensure that patients are signposted to the right services to meet their needs.  Furthermore, we recently merged our three surgeries, enabling us to offer more patient choice as we can now utilise cross-site appointments for those of you who are able to travel a little further to receive appropriate treatment. Cross-site appointments are completely optional for patients and are offered as an additional service, however, appointments at your registered site will always be available.

A large investment in our telephone systems have been made to allow for more calls to be answered and our online services are readily available for patients who find it easier to use our website for requesting appointments and administration assistance. 

Our policy is under constant review and we will update you accordingly as soon as we make any changes.
